For the next couple of weeks we are working on a site called global voices online. We were asked to subscribe to this  site useing a RSS feed and add it to our Igoogle. I subscribed to sports, music, Togo and the D.R. of Congo. We are learning about the countries and how people live around us right now. I have decide to report on this news story. If you read the story and I sugest you do. If you didn’t read the whole story what happened was there was a soccer game and the Japanese referee was giving D.R of Congo. Then the fans start chanting “Go home Chinese”. Then the D.R of Congo lost the game. After the game their fans went nuts and went after Chinese business and broke like everything. I think this is crazy. I really don’t get why people would do this. Ya ok the ref lost you points and lost you the game but you don’t have to go after different people of the same race and destory their buissness. I also makes it worse that it is not even the right race. The ref was japenesse not Chinese. As they were playing the game the fans started chanting ” Go home Chinese”. That is pretty terrible. I don’t get why people are so racist in the part of history. I don’t get the point of being racist either. Just because they look different doesn’t mean they are different in a bad why. Some are bad but their are people the same race of you that are  bad to.

After the game fans at the game took off and start smashed all the merchantdish of the Chinese owned stores. They mostly targeted the Chinese owned cellphone store in the city. They went on grab and smash raids around the city.  Leaving Chinese business owners in great finical loss.
